Q: You have 2 different taxi numbers. Which one is the best one to contact you?
A: Please feel free to call either 01948 838195 or 07775 765948. We also accept bookings and enquiries via text to our mobile number.
Q. Do you offer a local taxi service?
A. We only offer a local taxi service in Whitchurch and the surrounding areas only at present. Our airport, seaport and railway transfer services are available to all within North Shropshire and South Cheshire, as are full/partial day hire, long distance journeys or hospital visits/appointments.
Q: What hours do you operate?
A: We realise we don't live in a 9 - 5 world nowadays, and to reflect that we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays!
Q: How far in advance can I book my taxi?
A: You can book your taxi at any time! The earlier the better to ensure our availabilty! We accept bookings and enquiries via telephone, text, email or via our Facebook page.
Q: I need a taxi to get home but I forgot to pre-book! Can I call you?
A: Of course! We cannot guarantee our availability at short notice, but if we can fit you in we will get to you as soon as possible. If there will be a wait we will try our best to advise you of the timescale.
Q: Where do I enquire about lost property?
A: If you think you have lost any items in our taxi, please contact us. Any items left in our taxi will be held securely for 1 month. If not claimed after the time specified we will hand it in to the Police (valuable items) or donate the items to our local charity shop (non-valuables).
Q: How can I pay for my taxi?
A: We accept payment by cash, or debit/credit card with our in-car chip and pin card machine. You can even pay for your pre-booked taxi in advance over the phone! If you are a business, we offer a 30-day interest free credit account. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Q. If I pre pay for my journey and we have to cancel, will you refund the payment?
A. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your booking then payment in full will be refunded.
Q: How much will my taxi cost?
A: The cost of your journey will depend on the distance, time of day the journey takes place, and the number of people travelling. We have competitive fixed prices for most Airport Transfers and local journeys for which we will be able to give you an instant quote. For your peace of mind, we have a taximeter fitted in our taxi which is fully calibrated to Shropshire Council Licencing requirements.
Q: I need a package/parcel delivering. Can you do this for me?
A: Silverlink Travel will be more than happy to deliver your package, parcel or document to anywhere within the UK mainland. For this service, we do ask that payment is received in advance. Please contact us for a quote.
